We've put together one of the finest resources available to provide information about online fraud, and made it free for the public to use. However, it's not free for us to run. Is a donation required before you will answer my question about a scam or a web site?

We do not charge for our services. Individuals are free to search our database or contact our experts with questions about a suspicious transaction or proposal, and we will answer to the best of our ability. A donation is not required -- simply welcomed.

What do you do with my money?

Donations are put towards our annual server costs and related expenses. Interest in our database is growing, and therefore our hardware requirements are growing too. (We'd love to throw parties, but given the international nature of our membership, it would take a LOT of donations!)

What do I get in return?

Warm, fuzzy feelings, good karma, and the knowledge that we will be able to continue leading the fight against 419 and other forms of online fraud. If you're an active member of our forum, you can choose a custom nametag to replace the standard ones.

Is this tax-deductible?

We're not registered as a non-profit group in any country, and therefore you can not claim us as a charitable donation.

I do not have a paypal account or do not feel comfortable sending money online. Can I send you a check?

Unfortunately we don't have any postal mail donation options available at this time. But thanks for thinking of us!

I'm broke.

Don't worry -- financial donations are not the only way you can help. You can write an abuse complaint to a web hoster and kill a fake site. You can spread the word to family and friends, and help keep them from falling victim to online criminals. You can send us a note of thanks and lift our spirits. All these are great ways to help.
